True Account of Adam and Eve by Ken Ham

I received a great book that is published by Master Books, a division of New Leaf Publishing Group.
I was sent the e-book to review with no expectation of a good review.

The book, the True Account of Adam and Eve by Ken Ham is one of those great non-kid, kid books.
I know that sounds odd, but it is not a book that I would hand to my 6 year old to read, but it is a book that is intended for you to read TO and WITH your 6 year old.

I had a great time tonight reading this short 60 page book with my kids and they were very interactive and engaged by the store, the facts as well as the beautiful illustrations that were in the book.  I have to say more, the illustrations were spectacular and very detailed.  What I did was open to a Illustration on my computer and then why the kids looked at the picture I would read the next couple pages to them.  It worked VERY well at keeping everyone's attention.

Here is what the publisher says about the book:
Where mankind’s history began impacts how our future will end!

  • The biblical answer to the question: Were Adam and Eve real people or just generic references for all of mankind?
  • Explains the connection between original sin and the gospel
  • Emphasizes the importance of Adam and Eve as literal history to young and old alike
When you unlock the door to biblical compromise, the door gets pushed open wider with each generation. The Church is now debating the validity of Genesis as actual history, the reality of hell itself, and even if Adam was a real person. Trying to change the biblical time-line to fit with the secular concepts of millions of years has led many in Christian academia to reject the literal interpretation of the Bible itself. Perfect for children, the book helps them discover the truth about the first man and woman, and how their disobedience led to the need for Jesus Christ.

Even I learned from the account and details in this book.  For example if you think about this: If modern man evolved around 50,000 years ago based on the normal population growth of every 150 years we would be at a world population of 1 googol which is a 1 followed by 100 zeroes.  Yet if the flood happened just roughly 4,300 years ago then we would find population growths that are similar to the 7 Billion of current day.

The more we as Christians use the Bible to look at our world the more we really do see how everything, the intricacies of the world, the sun, the creations, and even the population growth prove the Bible is real!

Check this book out!  You will not be disappointed.

Here is a short video to check out as well for the title:
