"I Told Her I wrote 10 notes of encouragement this morning and when I walked by I felt like one of them we meant for you."
A simple greeting from Sam Worthington, pen name of the Letter Writer.
Previewed an amazing film tonight of a young girl who is struggling with Teenage anxiety and pressure. In the midst of it all she gets a letter. A Letter addressed to her. Maggie struggles to find who he is and why he wrote her.
She Finally finds Stan aka. Sam, at a local nursing home. What she finds is a man who is part rough, yet fully compassionate.
He writes letters to random people in the phone book speaking truth into their lives.
This film will leave you crying, laughing and wanting to follow in Sam's footsteps by writing a letter to a stranger.
So think about this. In 1 Corinthians we learn all sorts of things about LOVE. Yet when you are tired and on the bus, or in the store or restaurant and there are screaming kids... you don't typically react in love to that person. Yet if you wrote these letters of love in your heart to people it would allow you to BLESS them when they need it the most. A smile at a child, or a knowing glance at a parent.
This film is a 4 1/2 star out of 5 stars. A great film that will touch your heart.
