The Twelfth Imam by Joel C. Rosenberg
The Twelfth Imam by Joel Rosenberg.
I recently received the Twelfth Imam from Tyndale for free to review.
This was one of those books that, while being extremely meaty (IE.. 444 pages) I found it to be a quick and easy read.
Here is a synopsis:
Tension rises in the Middle East.
ISRAELI DEFENSE MINISTER SAYS SOMEONE MUST HIT IRAN’S NUCLEAR SITES “BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE”
PRESIDENT WARNS AGAINST ISRAELI STRIKE ON IRAN’S NUCLEAR FACILITIES
U.N. SECURITY COUNCIL CONSIDERS NEW ROUND OF IRAN SANCTIONS
IRANIAN PRESIDENT WARNS ISRAEL “DOOMED” IF ZIONISTS ATTACK
As the apocalyptic leaders of Iran call for the annihilation of Israel and the United States, CIA operative David Shirazi is sent into Tehran with one objective: use all means necessary to disrupt Iran’s nuclear weapons program—without leaving American fingerprints and without triggering a regional war.
As David begins to infiltrate the Iranian government, news spreads throughout the region of an obscure religious cleric hailed as the Islamic messiah known as the Mahdi or the Twelfth Imam. News of his miracles, healings, signs, and wonders spreads like wildfire, as do rumors of a new and horrific war.
With the prophecy of the Twelfth Imam seemingly fulfilled, Iran’s military prepares to strike Israel and bring about the End of Days. Shirazi must take action to save his country and the world, but the clock is ticking.
This book was a quick read and VERY interesting. Full of very real and lifelike imagery, you can tell that Joel Rosenberg has been and seen places that he is writing about.
This is a MUST read book for all CIA, Mystery, Conspiracy, and even the End Times style reads!
