Seeds of Turmoil by Bryant Wright

Seeds of Turmoil by Bryant Wright was recently given to me free of charge to read and review by Thomas Nelson.

It was ironic as I was reading another fiction work per my previous post, that was also on the same area of the world…the Middle East.

So why do we have such trouble, and turmoil in this land. Why do those living in these countries hate the Jews?

The book is amazing and starts at the beginning, a stubborn man who decided not to fully trust in God’s plan but to listen to his wife and take another woman in his bed. Thus it starts in the time of Abraham.

Here is a quick synopsis of the book:

The current conflict in the Middle East began long before the creation of the state of Israel in 1948. This fascinating insight into the beginnings of the Middle East conflict also explains what it is about the land that is so important today. In addition, Bryant sheds light on the conflicting Jewish, Christian, and Islamic perspectives and answers the question, “Does God play favorites?”

If you have ever had questions about the Middle East, this is the book for you!
This wasn’t just another book on the hot spot of the world. It was a very well written, easy to read synopsis.
