When all was completed they did a small ceremony giving us her adoption certificate, as well as our donation certificate from the orphanage. And finally a doll that is representative of te Miao people that are the key minority group in this province.
The director of the Guizhou center for adoption said that she was so pleased to see us as we were the youngest couple to adopt ever from their province. Ella was number 48 this year.
She thanked us for caring and showing love to these children. Our guide then told her we were also adopting from Fuijian and she lit up even more.
What a beautiful day it was.
