I thought I knew about him until I read this book. Saint Frances by Robert West was provided to me by Thomas Nelson to review. He was not only a saint, but also a Playboy, a wanna be knight.

This book follows his life in a chronological order from childhood to death and discusses all the major influences on the way.

If you are a history buff like myself you will love the history that is interwoven in here to help you understand the time frame, the crusades etc...
