Read this article as it has been something I have been thinking about lately.
Great example on Leno tonight: Harvard College Grad, English Major, couldn't give the names of "Count of Monte (Cristo)" or even "Tom (Sawyer)"...
Far cry from the days when the enterance exam you had to pass meant you had to be able to read and right in Latin, English and sometimes even another language...
