Day 15: Are you Still With Me?

Day 15
Theme: Are you still with me?
Passage: Matt. 6:1-4

1"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth; they have received their reward in full. 3But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

It is the end of our third week of talking about the call to a life of missions. It can be overwhelming at times. It can be disheartening at times. So let’s take a minute and come up for air.

Read the verse above and spend your time today praying over the following items of reflection:

Why are you helping the needy?

Is it to make you feel better? To sway the conscious?

Is going on one adventure just a learning experience?

Are you still with God on this journey? Still passionate about his plan and being a part of it?
