I had a run in with a DIVA this week... Have you??
First let me define DIVA:
A DIVA (NOUN) •one who behaves as a goddess or queen...
How does someone act as a DIVA in their Leadership?
1) They do not value other people's time
If a meeting is scheduled for a particular time they will show up 'FASHIONABLY' late.
2) They will only do what they want to do and when they want to do it...
If others are doing anything remotely close they will stop everything and bring the attention back to them...
3) They have to lead even when they are not the leaders...
4) They have a way of scolding people because they feel like it... Ie.. even when someone is doing something right, just not the way they would have done it, they yell at them as if they are.
5) They never coach in private but always in a crowd to feel that they are correct.
